Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
DicePDF is built around a single privacy commitment: your PDFs never leave your browser. The rest of this page describes the small amount of data we do collect and what happens to it.
What we do not collect
- We never upload your PDFs. Every operation — merge, split, rotate, delete — runs entirely on your device. There is no server-side processing path. There is no upload endpoint to attack, intercept, or subpoena.
- We do not store your files. PDFs you load are held in your browser's memory only for the duration of the operation. We explicitly drop references and revoke object URLs as soon as your download starts.
- We do not require accounts. There is no sign-up, sign-in, email collection, or password.
- We do not use cookies for accounts or PDF storage. There is no sign-in state and no server session tied to your files.
What we do collect
Anonymized web analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not use any client-side state to track you across sites. It records aggregate page-view counts, approximate country, browser, and referrer. It does not record the contents or names of your PDFs (it cannot — those never leave your device).
Marketing measurement (Meta Pixel)
On the public DicePDF website we may load Meta's (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether ads bring visitors here and which tools complete successfully in the browser. Those signals include URLs and coarse conversion events only — never your PDF bytes or extracted text. Meta may use cookies or similar technologies as described in Meta's Privacy Policy. Deployments without marketing measurement configured do not load this script.
Error reports
If something crashes in the browser, we may capture the JavaScript stack trace via an error-monitoring service. Before any report is sent, we strip file names, file content, and any data URLs. Reports include the page URL, browser version, and the error itself — never your PDF.
Server logs
Our static hosting provider keeps short-lived access logs for abuse prevention and operations (typical fields: IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent). We do not have direct access to these logs and we do not link them to any user identity.
Children
DicePDF does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The service is designed to be usable without identifying yourself.
Your rights
Because we do not store your PDFs and do not maintain user accounts, there is no personal data on file to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question about a specific concern, get in touch via the contact below.
Changes to this policy
